The costume class is a fun class that allows exhibitors to be creative! For this class, each handler chooses a costume for themselves and their llama.

​Examples include: a fisherman & a fish, a loofa & a bath tub, a prisoner & a cop, etc. The more the animal is covered the higher the costume is scored. Judges are highly impressed when animals have clothing/decor on their head, ears, legs, etc. 

At the time of the costume contest, each exhibitor submits a written story and/or song to be read or played as they walk through the ring. These usually last about one minute and correlate to their costume design. 

Along with the judge's placings, there is a people's choice award that takes place through an online form prior to the fair. This google form will be linked on the webpage.
